MixReady gives djay Pro a finished set as a playlist, with cue marks where each track mixes in and out. You point djay at it once; after that, each new set is a refresh away.

djay can stay open the whole time.
On a new install, open djay once so it sets up its library. Until then MixReady says so, rather than saving a playlist djay can't use.

MixReady keeps a copy of the playlist file before each write. Settings → DJ software → Library backups puts an earlier one back, with djay closed.
No. djay reads the playlist from the file MixReady saves, the same way it reads playlists from other DJ software. Your djay library is never changed.
External Apps → RB Collection, behind the stacked-layers icon in djay's left rail — not the Playlists panel. You only do this once; after a later write, press Refresh Playlists.
